The Great Steven E. Gordon Art Giveaway

Hello! How's your Labor Day weekend going so far? I'm excited to get the festivities started here with the announcement that my website has gone live -- and to celebrate, I'm giving away a bunch of free stuff decorated with the gorgeous illustration of Stir Me Up by renowned animation artist Steven E. Gordon.

Steven is the phenomenally-talented character designer behind X-Men: Evolution, The Swan Princess and The Ultimate Avengers. It's an honor to have his drawing of my main characters, Cami and Julian, in this hot embrace. It's a focal point of my website, and I'm delighted to be putting it on aprons, key chains and magnets for you. Hello and welcome to my very first blog ever!

I'm extremely excited this week to be putting together the last finishing touches on my website, www.sabrinaelkins.com, which should go live any day now.

First, I'm so thrilled to have blurbs from two of my absolute favorite YA authors, Jennifer Echols and Katie McGarry! When these blurbs first came in, I was on cloud nine for days! It's an amazing feeling to learn authors you admire like your work!

Also, I am so excited to have artwork from my famous and incredibly cool animator friend Steven E. Gordon on the website. Isn't his drawing of Cami and Julian awesome?

Because there's a lot of cooking in Stir Me Up, and because I'm a foodie, I've included some recipes for you with step-by-step photos. I also have a gallery for posting fan art, which should hopefully be fun.

My book comes out next month, on Oct. 1st, and we'll definitely have some very cool giveaways and promotions before then. In fact, be sure to check back in a few days. I think I'll be announcing one shortly!
